Our website has a selection of probably some the best road cycling routes and mountain bike routes available anywhere in Europe; all individually selected by us to give you the very best cycling ride. The Pedalnorth routes database is growing all the time, as we check out and add new road cycling routes in Europe, and some truly epic mountain bike routes for all levels of rider – including a new focus on mountain biking in Transylvania and Romania for 2024 and beyond.
And, from this summer, we’ll be adding our own selection of the some of the best gravel bike routes in Europe too – in partnership with 3T Bikes! Yes, with the some of the very best white road gravel bike routes in Italy to choose from, and new gravel bike routes in Spain, France and elsewhere – all checked by our team – you can choose your next 2-wheeled adventure with Pedalnorth.
Along with our world leading partners, based all over the cycling world, we believe that the wild and rugged countryside of our National Parks and other wild areas, provide the best locations for all forms of cycling: road, gravel, mtb and bikepacking.
All of our bike routes have elevation profiles and distance in miles or kilometres. There’s a Google map showing a satellite view and the ability to open in google earth, giving you a fly-through feeling. Those routes marked on our Google map with a yellow cycle icon are mountain bike routes, and those in blue are the road cycling routes. Please ensure that your bike and you are both fit and ready to ride. Riding any of the routes listed on our website is a choice for you at the time; the routes are simply ones we’ve chosen at a particular time, and are not maintained or managed by us. Each individual cycle routes page also has a gpx file for you to download, making sure that you won’t get lost. All that you need is a well serviced bike, a helmet, and a thirst for adventure!
