Garachico to Punto De Teno coastal ride
The small coastal town of Garachico is one of the most popular places on the island. With its buildings and history dating back to the 15th Century, it’s a truly spectacular place. This ride takes you from the town, along the scenic coastal roads, all the way to the lighthouse station building at Punto de Teno.

This is a short ride, and easily completed, with some good places for refreshments along the way. It’s a day for rolling along the coastal roads, with a few short climbs and some spectacular views – enjoy! We’ve built in a stop for refreshments at a coastal restaurant too 😉 – just follow the GPX and enjoy!
Route
1. Leaving the coastal town of Garachico, take the coastal road towards Puertito de los Silos.
2. Continue along the coast, passing the viewpoint at El Rayo Buenavista del Norte, then head inland slightly, before looping to the coastal restaurant at Restaurante El Burgado, at 38480 Buenavista, Santa Cruz de Tenerife for a break from the sun and heat.
3. After a break, it’s back onto the route and on towards Mirador Punta del Frailete and the lighthouse.
4. Simply rest,enjoy the view and then reverse the ride, home to Garachico for dinner 🙂
