Let the cycling begin!
A new cycling season and new writers at Pedalnorth!
As the cycling season begins with the spring classics, we’ve watched as Demi and Tadej pick up the early season honours at Strade Bianchi. We’ve been busy indoors, or wrapping ourselves in Klimatik clothing from Alé and venturing out into winter on the roads and trails. Yes, we’ve attempted to stay fit and healthy and focused, and the new cycling season is underway!
Robert and Nadia are firmly embedded, jointly at the helm here at Pedalnorth; and we have 4 new faces for 2025, who’ll be writing about a whole spectrum of cycling lifestyle and kit issues, as they each bring something special to our website. Pedalnorth is renowned for covering so many aspects of cycle sport and cycling lifestyle, and our new writers add to this, each having a focus on different areas, and each ensuring that we remain as one of the world’s best independent cycling lifestyle website.

Fiona-May comes from a cycling racing background, and has worked alongside many leading brands, as a road racer, sportwear model and content creator. This multi-talented botany scientist also explores the world on her bikepacking adventures, among her many and varied sporting exploits, that includes Thai Boxing! Fiona will be linked closely to our adventure cycling blogs with our partner brand, Tailfin, and showing you how to create your own micro adventures. Alongside this, she’ll be sharing her many years experience, seeing first-hand how women’s cycling has developed and how the position of women as cyclists still has a long way to go in terms of full acceptance across the wider cycling community.
Chloé Desormeaux

Whilst relatively new to cycling, Chloé has already made an impact as a global content creator. Taking a refreshingly simple and realistic approach to her cycling lifestyle, this young Canadian athlete is already working in partnership with some of the world’s leading brands, such as Zwift, as she inspires others and creates a cycling community that focuses on real cycling and real sweat and tears, on and off the bike.

We’re excited and confident that both Fiona and Chloé will help us to keep a focus on supporting and growing women’s cycling and showing others how cycling can help you to achieve a happier and healthier lifestyle.
