G4 Intemporel Mens Bib Shorts

G4 Intemporel Mens Bib Shorts

A highly technical bib short from French brand G4, the Intemporel is also a style statement, with it’s subtle modern design. G4 strive to blend to performance and style, and they’ve achieved it with these shorts.

G4 have used the UCI world class experience of leading cyclist Geoffroy Lequatre, designing bib shorts fit for the pros, yet cut to high fashion levels and with a superb ribbed design, allowing air to move freely over the rider and maximising breathability.

Designed to match the stylish Intemporel jersey, yet also subtle enough for all the jerseys in their range, these technical shorts utilise the aero fabric well, with this lightweight and highly breathable material used on the hard working areas of the upper legs. And, like the accompanying jersey, the fabric adds to the fashion statement, producing an elegant finish. The leg panels are designed for compression , and fit tightly yet comfortably to the rider.

For the hard wearing areas of the shorts, there’s a stronger 4 way stretch lycra fabric, with flatlocked stitching and the signature G4 superb finishing. The bib straps are also extremely well made, extremely wide, super strong and elasticated, meaning that they sit perfectly flat across the shoulders and chest, oozing the well thought out design and keeping things in place. Geoff Lequatre has used all of his world class experience as a pro tour rider in this area and it shows.

There’s a mesh panel on the back too, so that the high wicking areas of the body can breathe and move the moisture away from you.

Holding it all in place, the legs are neatly trimmed with a wide elasticated terraband, clinging to the body and adding to the second skin feel and the compression effect. The branding is subtle, as these bibs really don’t need to shout out – the quality speaks for itself.

G4 have also worked hard to design their own pad, again using the world tour experience of former TdF rider Geoff Lequatre, and it is a very comfortable seat. It’s stood the tests here in Yorkshire and across Europe on tough  long days in the saddle. There’s a saying that ‘you get what you pay for’, and whilst coming in at the very premium end of the market, the Intemporel bib shorts from G4 are worth the money, performing superbly, and simply ooze quality and style.

G4 aim to create a merging of performance and fashion, and in this shorts they’ve achieved just that.
