OUR FAVOURITE HOLIDAY RIDES

We believe that cycle tourism is on the increase and will continue to increase over the next few years, as people look for collecting memories, not possessions. Life is an adventure, and we want cyclists to have every opportunity to find the best adventures on 2-wheels, all over the world.

Many of our team already work within the cycling industry across Europe and elsewhere. Through our vast global network of writers, we’re building up a great network of useful guides and travel companies to take care of you, or to simply help you plan your very own special cycling bikecation.

We regularly visit bikecation locations all over the world and we’ll be adding to the database of advice on this section of the website in the future. In particular, Romania and the Transylvania region which is a superb bikecation location, with sun and spa hotels to soothe you, will be a key focus. Working alongside Tudor Oprea, from the TRIADA MTB organisation, and also an expert for Olympic standard rider, we’ll be bringing you lots of ideas for off-road adventures in Europe’s last great wilderness – the beautiful Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania and Romania.

All you need to do is to smile and ride the miles. Planning a bikecation is now easier than you think. Keep reading our guides and plan your own trip of a lifetime. Why not join Tudor and the TRIADA team in transfixing Transylvania this year, at the epic new ‘Trilogy of the Trails’ festival; or former TdF rider Geoff Le Quatre on his epic road cycling holidays all over Europe. Live life on 2-wheels this year – with the team at Pedalnorth!
